And how does this LAN relate to that router, i.e. via some firewall?Have a look at your Internet access router. All my routers have an optional service called either ntp or time service. On my Internet access router, it is called ntp service which I enabled and configured. I configured it to take its time source from a close-by university which has two precision time clocks connected not only to its campus but also offering its time service to the public via Internet with published terms of use. According to these terms, I may not use it if every of my devices collects time from that source. I shall use just one device for that purpose. So I configured all other devices on my LAN and on my WLAN to use my Internet access router as their time source.Windows time service is the term to lookup in your Windows docu. All your devices have an operating system with such a time service which is enabled by default. Windows docu tells you how to configure your LAN in a similar manner than I did. This might also be a starting point for lookup. Your LAN may need to use either your firewall or your Internet access router as your time source unless you’ve an external clock on-premise you can connect to. There is no need to go into registry editor for your purpose
