Dora Explores: Pandora Kitten & Yarn Ball CharmAs a cat mummy I was delighted when Pandora released a new cat charm. The Pandora Kitten and Yarn Ball Charm (799535C00) is not just a typical cat charm but features a little cat holding a ball of wool. Oxidisation detail highlights the individual strings of wool as well as the kitty’s eyes, nose and whiskers. Hanging from the bottom of the Pandora Kitten and Yarn Ball Charm is a tiny silver disc, stamped with the word ‘ME♥︎W’. Other cute details include little embossed paws and grooved shapes that depict the cats fur pattern.More grooved markings can be seen on the back of the Pandora Kitten and Yarn Ball Charm and the cats stripey tail curls around his back, finishing in a fluffy tip.The normal Pandora hallmark for silver jewellery, ‘S925 ALE’ is engraved on the bottom of the Pandora Kitten and Yarn Ball Charm and the Pandora logo is stamped on the back of the disc. Initially I thought the Kitten and Yarn Ball charm was going to have a threaded core, but it actually has a smooth interior. Burnt orange and pink hues on the Glittering Sunset Murano Glass (789440C00) perfectly imitate the ginger colour of my marmalade cat.At the back of the bracelet, the Limited Edition Pandora 20th Anniversary House Charm (799118C00) portrays my family home, while the Openwork Pink Daisy Flower Charm (788772C01) denotes the surrounding woodland. Silver lines on both versions of the Funny Bones (790569DB, 790569DN) charms depict stripes on a wooly jumper and the Matte Green (799555C00) and Matte Purple (789547C00) Murano charms convey the colour. Cover a coffee can- the mouse hole- with another piece of black paper. Make up enough small mice out of felt by cutting them out in teardrop shapes. Add a pompon and length of yarn for the tail. Glue sequins on for eyes or draw them on with markers. Next, turn a coffee can on its side and place it on top of a table. Place a dozen crackers leading up to the mouse hole. Cut out of large construction paper a cat silhouette. Have each child place the cat on the wallpaper of their choice and trace around the cat shape.
