Yes flying in winter can suck sometimes but if you're prepared it lots of fun I've flown about four times so far in January, the coldest -8 Celsius If you search the site you'll see some other posts with flights at -25 Celsius. It is possible to fly in winter, with just a few precautions though. Keep your batteries warm. This is really important. I fly for about 15-18 min max in the cold. Check your battery temp before you slowly lift off. Temp should be min 24-25c. Takes 2 minutes hovering to reach that temp. If you're interested in flying some weekend let me know. I struggled with it a few times, as well. you have to hit enter once you change the number. Yeah... I guess my brain was on holidays...Thanks mate #11 Hey im British and "getting a better grip" on a "phantom Knob" just isnt right on any level!great tips tho TY Would you Adam and Eve it??? #12 So i set these two to 88% or is better to set the break to 75 Experiment and see what works best for you. It'll take longer for your Phantom to come to a complete stop when the brake is lower. Make sure you test it while above all trees and other obstacles. #13 I've noticed there's been some updates with recent firmware upgraded that add additional options. I've used the settings above with great result. Is there way to update this thread with some of the updated settings? #14 I can update it. Which settings are you referring to? #15 Yaw Endpoint is a new one and I thought I saw something new in the gimbal Param settings if I'm not mistaken #16 Yaw Endpoint is a new one Got any specific tips that worked for you with this setting? #17 I haven't messed with those settings yet so I didn't know if you had any suggestions? #18 Ha, thanks! Great thread! Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots mobile app #19 Hey im British and "getting a better grip" on a "phantom Knob" just isnt right on any level!great tips tho TY
