Da mich die Firma Thomann aber freundlich gebeten hat, will ich diese Bitte gern nachkommen.Vorab: Ich hatte vor 10 Monaten ein Audiointerface für mein Recording gesucht und hatte mich für das SSL2+ entschieden. Versüsst wurde der Kauf seinerzeit durch die kostenlose Zugabe einiger SSL PlugIns. Zu meiner Überraschung fanden sich nach erfolgreicher und stressfreier Installation auch noch weitere PlugIns für einen Nutzungszeitraum von 6!!! Monaten in meinem Ilok-Konto. Ich wurde also ein wenig "gelockt".Allerdings macht es grossen Spass mit den PlugIns intuitiv zu arbeiten, ob im Mix- oder im Masterprozess.Nun zum SSL Vintage Drive PlugIn: Ich habe dieses PlugIn, wie auch einige andere von SSL, in diesem Jahr erworben und mich klar gegen ein Abo von SSL entschieden, da ab und zu SSL bzw. Thomann diese PlugIns im Sale anbieten.SSL Vintage Drive habe ich bisher im Masterbuss genutzt. Die Sättigung (harmonische Obertöne, Kompression, Verzerrrung) findet sehr subtil statt, das empfinde ich als sehr grossen Vorteil gegenüber vielen anderen Anbietern. Die Bedienung mit wenigen Reglern macht es zusätzlich interessant. Ebenso kann ich die Presets (in allen SSL-PlugIns) zu Kontrollzwecken empfehlen. Abschliessend bin ich mit diesem PlugIn zufrieden, ja sehr zufrieden.Ausserdem möchte hier ebenfalls den tollen Service der Firma Thomann positiv erwähnen, bei allen Käufen wird man kompetent beraten. Das ist ja leider aus der Mode gekommen.Die Hardware (SSL Fusion) wird u.U. noch authentischer den bekannten SSL-Sound simulieren, allerdings bieten die PlugIns von SSL auch manchmal zusätzliche Funktionen, die die Hardware nicht

I've definitely had an interest in that combination. What DAW are you using? How does that work with realtime processing/DSP and latency, because, as I understand it, MpMidi places a wrapper around whatever plugins you use. So I was searching around on the net for some new plugins. I had been debating just caving in and buying the UAD cards so that I could make use of awesome plugins and not sacrifice any CPU power. I said to myself, well, what am I really wanting here? I think the answer was that I just wanted some great sounding plugs that didn't cost a whole lot. Though they sound fantastic, the UAD cards are not cheap. Anyway, I was looking around and I stumbled upon a company called Minimal System. Mac users beware--all their plugs are PC only, but that doesn't mean they will be PC only forever.Plugins from Minimal SystemThis is a screenshot taken from their website. Their three flagship plugins are the SSi Pro Compressor, the SSi Pro Analogue Noise Gate, and the SSi Pro Expander. Obviously, these are SSL-type emulations. I own the Waves SSL bundle, and I like the SSi compressor from Minimal System better than the Waves SSL compressor. I have a user 'szabolcs' in sql who needs ssl.First I received'mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'szabolcs'@'localhost' (using password: YES)'.That was why PMA doesn't use MYSQLI_CLIENT_SSL.
